In 2023 James was employed by Lupus Films as an Assistant Animator on Channel 4's 'Mog's Christmas', Directed by Robin Shaw.

James was responsible for taking the Animator's rough animation and cleaning it up, creating the finished drawings that were used in the final film. James also moved into the Colour department once finished on Clean-up, where he was responsible for colouring and shading each individual frame.
